Director Henrik Fagersson
Henrik Fagersson has long been a dreamer and innovator, with many thoughts starting with, “What if…..?”. As an adult, Henrik has become a “big-picture” man, and in Hua Hin has been highly successful in the business sphere, despite needing to overcome a number of bureaucratic obstacles. Spine Clinic, Henrik’s clinic with a holistic focus on pain-free well-being opened six years ago now in its original location and in January 2024 moved to its current location in the Hua Hin Health Park, another one of Henrik’s initiatives.
Henrik has a habit of setting his goal-bar high, and then exceeding it. Henrik has fitness goals he meets through his involvement in Spartan training. In late November 2024, Henrik competed at elite level in the Spartan Beast World Championships in Abu Dhabi in the UAE. His wife Kathrin and their daughters have followed Henrik’s role-modelling and themselves now take part in physical pursuits showcasing their strength and endurance. Henrik is a natural leader.
The vision for The Hub Hua Hin sees it becoming the centre of a family-oriented community in a key, easily accessible location. Henrik’s initial motivation for The Hub grew out of his search for an affordable, high-quality secondary education for his daughters, now aged 12 and 11 years-of-age. Unable to find schooling that would open up a world of post-secondary opportunities for his girls, Henrik is now determined to create the perfect learning environment himself, in the co-study program at The Hub.
Henrik’s vision aligns with the Latin phrase, “Mens sana in corpore sano”, usually translated as “Healthy mind in a healthy body”. Students taking part in co-study at The Hub will experience the close link between physical exercise, mental equilibrium and the enjoyment of life, exactly what every parent wants for their children. While the children will study an academic program of their parents’ choice, The Hub will offer a co-curricular enrichment program of activities including art/craft and drama as well as sport, allowing participants to hit their social development goals in a supportive atmosphere.
While of course Henrik is not averse to financial success, it is not his primary life-goal. Henrik measures his achievement in terms of personal and family happiness, and would like to assist co-workers and co-study participants at The Hub to also experience the satisfaction of a job well-done.
