Soft opening at The Hub, Hua Hin
- A resounding success
Saturday, 27th September saw the soft opening of The Hub, Hua Hin, with almost 200 people in attendance. Henrik Fagersson was delighted to welcome all the VIP guests, those who have voted with their feet, and are supporting Henrik as he launches his exciting and innovative new business and educational venture, a unique initiative in Hua Hin. Families and friends of business supporters and Co-study participants were welcomed with sparkling wine on the second floor- provided they were adults, of course – and members of The Hub family got to mingle, share their stories and indulge in some delicious bites provided by the on-site catering of Avani + Pantry, which Hub members can enjoy on a daily basis.
The private wing, comprising five separate offices, is completely filled, with businesses such as Lynkpay, Nordwork, Sunset Real Estate and Nexus Insurance choosing The Hub Hua Hin as their local base. The open co-working space still has three more ergonomic desks available for casual occupancy for those with an aspirational mindset, but be aware that bookings are increasing on a daily basis, in particular for the hot-desk spaces. The state-of-the-art conference facilities at The Hub Hua Hin are able to be booked, with packages ranging from hourly to half and full-days, with or without on-site catering by Avani + Pantry.
The co-study program at The Hub currently has seven participants, with a projected cohort of just over 20 at the beginning of 2026. Henrik is proud that co-study at The Hub has room for further expansion, up to its maximum capacity of 90 students from the ages of 10 to 18. The co-study supervision team, headed by Khun Anu and ably assisted by her colleagues Khun Yuppie, Khun Ingrid and Khun Mariyam, is bringing a wealth of experience, talent and enthusiasm for learning to the students in the co-study program. All participants are excited to be part of something unique in Hua Hin, and are thrilled to welcome Khun Mymai to The Hub each Friday as she expands their knowledge of both Thai language and culture.
Local charity foundation, Hua Hin Heros has its headquarters at The Hub and is now looking forward to expanding its charitable work by adding new members, with new skills, and thus increasing the positive impact it can have in our community. Local English-speaking radio station, Surf Radio, is set to begin its studio fit out, to be complete in time for the Hub’s Grand Opening on Friday 21st November.
Henrik is still to release details of all the activities he has planned for the Grand Opening, but those close to The Hub are predicting a joyous day of displays, games, shows, food, and above all, fun! The day is expected to start with a traditional 9 monk blessing and it is hoped that the Provincial Governor, Dr Sittichai, will be able to grace The Hub, Hua Hin with his presence on this auspicious occasion.
