The Hub Hua Hin – August Update
The Hub Hua Hin is buzzing with excitement as August draws to a close. The soft opening of the Co-Study facility is now only a matter of just over a week away and the entire team is riding an adrenalin wave as “the day” approaches.
The 8th September will see the doors open to The Hub’s first co-study cohort of eight students, aged from 10 -18, beginning their learning journey in The Hub’s “state-of-the-art” study environment. The new furniture is in place, now it is just waiting for the students to put the comfortable desks and chairs to good use. Even the break-out area with its plump beanbags is ready to provide a tranquil spot for students and staff to take a breather.
The Hub’s reception area is polished and waiting for Titima, nicknamed TT, whose organisational role at The Hub begins on Monday 1st September. TT will quickly become a firm favourite of students and other Hub members, as she works behind the scenes to support their wide variety of needs. This coming weekend sees The Hub’s legal partner, 360 Consulting, transferring its entire operation to the new site. Each step makes The Hub’s founder, Henrik Fagersson beam with pride as he marvels at seeing his vision take shape.
The Co-working area on the second floor will be open for business on 22nd September, just a fortnight after the students arrive. Four of the five private office suites are already leased, and will provide the ideal workplace for an insurance broker, an IT/AI company from Sweden, a UK based payment systems company called LynkPay and a consulting room for a psychologist.
The Hub’s conference room, with its high-tech capabilities, is ready to host its first meetings. Henrik is impressed with the extensive range of services which will be calling The Hub precinct their home. Avani+ Pantry is readying itself to provide for the nutritional needs of those using the site, and Henrik is keen to see them make the upcoming occupancy deadline. While many of the milestones of Henrik’s vision have already been passed, The Hub will continue to grow and progress into 2026 and beyond.
The eight students of the current Co-study cohort have already received their printed texts and learning materials from Wolsey Hall, ready for the start of the new academic year. Parents, there are still 3 places available for study during the remainder of 2025, and Anu, the leader of the Co-study department is ready to welcome your child/ren. It is envisaged that an additional 20 places will become available in the Co-study department in 2026, with Henrik having already short-listed candidates for an additional educational leader. Additionally, Henrik and Anu are making plans and arrangements for a family whose children study a Swedish curriculum to join The Hub community and feel both welcome and well-supported.
The Hub will be operating from 8am to 6pm on weekdays in 2025, but the aim is for 24/7 operation in 2026, facilitated by keyless, digital and biometric access. This is just one of the many features that make The Hub such an innovative place to work and study. For Henrik and the team, it has been a hectic, but very exciting, few months as The Hub has truly begun to blossom
